Ramon Pastor is the vice president and general manager of HP’s Large Format Printing Business for the technical and creative markets. In this position, Pastor holds worldwide responsibility for research and development, marketing, finance and operations for the full range of HP Designjet large-format printers. Business headquarters are located in
Barcelona, Spain with operations in China and Malaysia.
Previously, Pastor was the worldwide research and development director for the Large Format Printing Business. In this position, he was responsible for the development of the first web-connected multifunction large-format printers, a revolution in the technical market.
Joining HP in 1992, Pastor has also served as the strategic marketing manager for the Large Format Printing Business and held a variety of positions in operations, research and development and marketing.
Pastor holds a master’s degree in engineering from Universitat Politécnica of Catalunya, a business degree from IESE Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as formal training in product development and strategy, from INSEAD and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
