Josh is a mechanical engineer who joined the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) – the UKs trade association for organisations which design, make and sell manufacturing technology equipment in the UK – in 2016 as their Technology Manager. In this role he was responsible for delivering the association’s work around Legislation and Standards which impact on the manufacturing technology sector, as well providing briefings on the latest technology developments. In 2022, as part of the MTA, Josh founded Additive Manufacturing UK (AMUK), a UK trade association for organisations operating within the Additive Manufacturing (AM) eco-system. In his new role as the Head of AMUK, he is now responsible for establishing an environment in the UK where AM technology can be developed, adopted, and used. He does this through supporting members with business intelligence and support services as well as by delivering the AMUK Strategy which sets the actions to address the key AM Industry challenges being experienced by the AMUK membership.
