Dr. David G. Galati is a founding member and the Director of Autonomy at TITAN Robotics Inc. Over the past two decades he has applied his expertise in high dimensional planning to the practical commercialization of advanced robotics. He focuses on developing robotic systems that act intuitively to gain users’ trust and achieve widespread adoption. Dr. Galati’s work includes UAV’s, UGV’s, and Mobile Manipulators across a wide variety of applications in numerous domains. He specializes in Coverage Problems, Trajectory Generation, and Multi-robot Collaboration. After earning his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh, he spent the next twelve years at Carnegie Mellon’s National Robotics Engineering before moving on to become a founding member of TITAN Robotics. Dr. Galati is a US Patent holder and has built numerous award-winning robotic systems.
