Dr. Katharina Eissing is a quantum physicist and CTO & Co-Founder of 1000 Kelvin GmbH. She obtained her Ph.D at RWTH in Aachen and her Masters in theoretical physics at LMU in Munich. She previously worked as a senior research scientist at Siemens Corporate Technology in Berlin where she developed novel approaches and methods to build efficient digital twin technologies. After, she joined ETH university in Zurich as a Chief Engineer in charge of setting up a research group of Prof. Bambach focusing on the application of ML to advanced manufacturing. She has authored multiple research publications and holds multiple inventions.
